Persona 5 Royal Has Sold Over 1.4 Million Copies Worldwide; Series Sales at 13 Million


Thanks to its increased popularity in the West, Persona 5 Royal reached an impressive sales milestone that pushes the series' sales further.

Thanks to the success of Persona 5 and its recently-released enhanced edition, Persona 5 Royal, the long-running JRPG series has seen tremendous success around the world. This is especially the case in the West, as the series has continued to grow in popularity from its Japanese roots and found an audience in other parts of the world, which in turn has translated to impressive new sales milestones for the series so far.

Atlus has revealed that Persona 5 Royal‘s worldwide sales have officially reached over 1.4 million copies sold since it was first released in Japan in October 2019, followed by its Western launch this past March. Additionally, Atlus also highlighted that the series’ total lifetime sales to date have reached over 13 million copies sold around the world.
