Grand Theft Auto V Has Sold Over 130 Million Units, According to Take-Two Interactive
The latest earnings call by Take-Two Interactive revealed the number of unit sales for Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and more.
Take-Two Interactive’s latest financial report suggests a record-breaking net booking of $2.99 billion, thanks to a bunch of best-selling titles in the company’s line-up such as Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Borderlands 3.
According to the report, Grand Theft Auto V’s sales have surpassed 130 million units, which is an outstanding number for both the company and the GTA franchise regarding the fact that the game has launched nearly seven years ago. With Rockstar Games supporting GTA Online with tons of content updates since its release, the game still feels alive with a great amount of player base.
Aside from Grand Theft Auto V, the latest hit from Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption 2, has reached 31 million unit sales in less than two years after its launch.
