Sega Announces Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MEGA 39’s for Nintendo Switch - Coming Soon!

It’s the 10th anniversary of SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project! In commemoration of the anniversary, Sega has announced a brand new Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA title “Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MEGA 39’s” to be released as the first Project DIVA title ever on the Nintendo Switch.

The game will come with 100 songs that signifies the 10 years history of SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project, plus a newly written theme song that’s yet to be revealed. Included in the list is 10 new songs to the Project DIVA series, 2 of which were revealed to be “Alien Alien” by Nayutan Alien and “39 Music!” by MikitoP.

In addition to the 101 songs, a total of 300 modules has also been confirmed.

As the first Project DIVA title on the Nintendo Switch, the game will also feature a unique gameplay mode in a similar fashion to Project Mirai Deluxe’s Button/Touch modes for the Nintendo 3DS. Additionally, the origin of the title will also be revealed in the upcoming July 4th edition of Weekly Famitsu magazine; we’re expecting more reveal there as well.
