E3:2019 Borderlands 3 trailer focuses on the new Vault Hunters

At Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2019 showcase, Gearbox Software and 2K showed off a new trailer for Borderlands 3. As usual, the trailer showed thousands of new guns players can find in Borderlands 3. But this trailer’s main focus is on Borderlands 3’s new Vault Hunters.

We already know the abilities for Amara the Siren and Zane the Operative. But we saw more abilities from Moze the Gunner and FL4K the Beastmaster.

Moze is reminiscent of previous soldier characters like Roland from Borderlands or Salvador from Borderlands 2. But instead of using a turret or wielding two guns at once, Moze can pilot a giant mech called Iron Bear.

FL4K is the first real pet class for Borderlands. Previous games had classes that summoned allies like the Mechromancer from Borderlands 2, but FL4K has an army of beasts at their disposal. The trailer showed off a Skag, Spiderant, and a new creature following FL4K around the battlefield.

The trailer also revealed a new Borderlands 2 DLC called “Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary.” This new expansion will bridge the gap between Borderlands 2’s story and Borderlands 3.

Gearbox and 2K will launch Borderlands 3 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One on Sept. 13.
