WWE 2K20 Royal Rumble Gameplay Sees a Surprising Winner

This WWE 2K20 Royal Rumble gameplay video shows Superstars like Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Lana, but only one came out victorious.

There are many match types in WWE 2K20, but none put as many wrestlers in one ring as the Royal Rumble. The WWE 2K20 Royal Rumble gameplay video below doesn’t have the traditional amount of WWE Superstars running out to the squared circle, but it does give you a good look at some of the women Superstars. You can also see how well the game performs when more than four wrestlers are in the ring.

It turns out WWE 2K20 runs pretty well when there are eight WWE Superstars in the ring simultaneously. In the video, Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley are being controlled by DualShockers staff writer Michael Ruiz and video boy Mario Rivera respectively.

If this were a real Royal Rumble, the results would be wild. Lynch not making it to the top two because Maryse clotheslined her out of the ring would be a giant push for Maryse. The end saw Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Peyton Royce (of the Iiconics) duke it out. You’ll just have to watch to see who won.

WWE 2K20 is the newest entry in the WWE 2K franchise. It is the first entry that is being fully developed by Visual Concepts, and not by Yuke’s. Some new features include bringing female created wrestlers to MyCareer mode, WWE Originals, and a Four Horsewomen Showcase. Pre-ordering the game will get you the first WWE Original called Bump in the Night which features “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

WWE 2K20 launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 22, 2019. You can check out our preview to see what we thought of this year’s entry.
